Jesus’ Promise
If you have a prayer partner, you may want to ask your partner to join you in surrounding your prayers with this promise: “Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven” (Matthew 18.19).
Suggested Prayer
Grant me, O Father, the capacity to see everything as intensely beautiful.
Personal Reflection
I once drove for thirty minutes with a grasshopper holding on to the windshield wiper of my truck. I usually don’t pay much attention to insects, but this day I was in awe at God’s creation. This simple bug was able to hitch a ride with me from Missouri to Kansas, to see, to breathe, to eat, and so on.
People are infinitely more important than grasshoppers. God knows the plans, dreams, disappointments, and loves of everyone person on earth. People are not to be neglected, as worthless insects.
Today, I ask God to give me the capacity to see everything and everyone – from bugs to people – as intensely beautiful.
Your Turn
Let the people and events of this day remind you to ask God to see everything and everyone as intensely beautiful. Thank God for the capacity to view people and his creation as he sees them.

Thank you God for letting us see the true beauty in everything and everybody. Let us love each other as you love us Lord. I pray these prayers every day.

I met with Sam and Josie Moberg and Conner in the youth chapel tonight. This was our 1st meeting of the Youth Choir Band Worship Team. I pray I can help the youth of Maywood use the gifts God has given them for His glory
