This Season of Gratitude: My Grandson Grayson

Headlines from my life Saturday, December 2nd 2017

My grandson, Grayson, is on the autism spectrum. I thought I would write about him during this season of giving thanks. He is a unique human being, loving, funny, great sense of humor, agreeable, able to do things at four years old that amaze me (like read and play simple songs on the piano).

He is blessed with loving and supportive parents and a very funny two year-old brother. He also attends a special school, Autism Concepts Incorporated.

He loves the ABC Song by Usher.

My expression of gratitude is the gift God has given all of us with Grayson and his little brother, Grant.

Readings from Proverbs for Saturday, December 2nd, 2017

One of the saints in the Catholic church reminds the world of God’s two gifts. The first gift is that of our own life. There are no accidents in the world. Every human being is an intentional birth from the love of our Father in heaven.

God’s second gift is that of his Son. He gave us his Son, so we can live abundantly now and in his presence forever.

Proverbs 3.19 – The Lord by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding he established the heavens.

Prayers for Saturday, December 2nd, 2017

Dear God, today we thank you for the gift of life and the greatest gift of all – your Son.
